What is The Real Escape?
The Real Escape is an escape room venue in which teams of two to seven people are put to the test by being locked in a room where they must find clues and solve puzzles in order to unlock the door and make their escape.
What is the minimum age?
Our games are suitable for all ages, however, we recommend that the majority of players on a team are 12 and above. Any teams with members under the age of 16 require at least one member over the age of 18, sorry we cannot make exceptions for this. Players under the age of 12 may encounter issues with recognising or understanding the connections between puzzles. That said, the experience is family friendly and ensures everyone works together.

Can I hold a party or company event at The Real Escape?
Absolutely!
The Real Escape can be hired to host a stag/hen, birthday party, company or any other event and can accommodate up to 22 people per hour, with up to 7 players in Chamber of the Deep, 6 players in Dr Ryddle’s Memories and The Western Job each, and up to 3 people in Mission 60. All our escape games can function simultaneously.
We’d recommend splitting up your large group into smaller groups and reserve 1 session (4 different games).
If you have booked multiple rooms, All of our games have the same start time so your whole group can arrive together at the earliest start time and play simultaneously, so please book your slots as it appears on the calendar.

How long does the experience take?
You will have one hour to complete your chosen room – whether or not you use all that time depends on you! We ask you arrive 10 minutes before the game start time to settle yourselves and your Games Master will give you a short instruction briefing before your game. Overall, your experience will last approximately an hour and fifteen minutes.
Will we get help if we get stuck in the game?
Absolutely, your Games Master will be on hand to help you with useful hints and clues should you need them. This will be mentioned in the briefing prior to your game.
Is the game difficult?
The game is designed to be challenging! However, the vast majority of teams will be able to complete it if they work together. You can find see the escape rate for each room when booking to help you decide which room to try first.
Do you mix teams with other members of the public?
No, we do not mix your team with other members of the public to fill up the room.
Do you sell gift vouchers?
Yes, gift vouchers are available to purchase on the website.
